It is a well known fact that a good night's sleep is very much essential for a person’s wellbeing. And sleeping on the right beddings is crucial for a good night's sleep. But this fact is often ignored by people. 

Most significantly, pillows are designed to support your neck and head while sleeping, alleviating muscular tension and supporting proper spinal alignment. A pillow that has crumpled or flattened over time may not give adequate support, and you may wake up hurt or tired.

Most of the people just don't know when to change their pillows or they are just too lazy to buy a new one. There are many signs which suggest that it is high time to replace your pillows. So, if you wake up with a stiffness in your neck or acne outbreaks on your face, it's highly possible that you're sleeping on an out-of-date pillow.

  3. If you feel stiffness in your neck or your head or shoulder hurts when you wake up,  this is a sign that you should change your pillow immediately.
  4.  Sometimes over time the pillows tend to accumulate dust mites which may trigger allergies. While this goes for everyone people are specially advised to change pillows more often than usual.
